How Sentia Research LLC produces its research, what the drift score is and is not, and the limits of AI-assisted analysis.
Not Investment Advice
Sentia Research LLC is a publisher of impersonal financial research. All content on this site and in any exported document is published for informational and research purposes only.
No content constitutes a recommendation that any particular security, portfolio of securities, transaction, or investment strategy is suitable for any specific person. Content is impersonal, of general circulation, and not tailored to any person's investment needs, financial situation, objectives, risk tolerance, or holdings.
Sentia is not a registered investment adviser, not a broker-dealer, and not a fiduciary to any user. Sentia does not provide investment, tax, legal, accounting, insurance, or financial planning advice. Nothing on the Service is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security.
All investment decisions are your own. Consult a qualified, licensed professional before acting.
Investment Risk
Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. Past performance is not indicative of future results. No content on the Service predicts or guarantees any future outcome, return, or price movement. Market conditions change, and analysis that appears sound may prove wrong.
How the Research Is Produced
Sentia's research briefs are produced by an AI-assisted research pipeline that uses large language models supplied by Anthropic, applied to:
- SEC filings obtained from EDGAR, including annual reports (Form 10-K), quarterly reports (Form 10-Q), current reports (Form 8-K), and insider transaction reports (Form 4);
- XBRL structured financial data as filed with the SEC;
- earnings call transcripts; and
- third-party market data, including prices, analyst consensus estimates, peer comparisons, fund-holdings data, and segment information, supplied by Financial Modeling Prep.
Where a figure is available as a filed XBRL fact, that filed value takes precedence over any third-party value, and each such figure is cited to its specific XBRL concept and SEC accession number so that it can be verified at the source.
Automated validation checks run before any brief is published, including a check that fails the process when a cited figure is not backed by stored filing provenance.
Limits of AI-Generated Analysis
AI-generated content may contain errors. Language models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or internally inconsistent output, including statements that appear authoritative but are wrong. Sentia's validation process reduces but does not eliminate the possibility of error.
Citations are provided so you can verify — not so you don't have to. Follow the accession link and confirm any figure at the source before relying on it.
Sentia makes no warranty that any brief, figure, score, or statement is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any purpose.
About the Drift Score
The drift score is Sentia's proprietary 0–100 analytical measure of how closely management's account of a period tracks the financial results the company reported for that period.
It is not a rating, a price target, a valuation, a forecast, a prediction of future performance, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. It is an analytical opinion produced by Sentia's methodology, which is proprietary and subject to change. It should never be used as the sole basis for any decision.
Data Sources and Accuracy
Filing data is obtained from the SEC's EDGAR system. Market data and related information are supplied by third-party vendors.
Third-party data is believed to be reliable but is not guaranteed as to accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Sentia is not responsible for errors, omissions, delays, or interruptions in third-party data, or for any decision made in reliance on it. Market data may be delayed. Third-party data remains the property of its providers.
Coverage and Currency
Sentia covers a limited number of companies, and coverage may expand, contract, or change at any time without notice. The absence of coverage implies nothing about any company.
Content reflects information available as of the date shown and may be superseded by later events. Sentia has no obligation to update, revise, correct, or continue publishing any brief.
Conflicts of Interest
Neither Sentia Research LLC nor its members or personnel hold positions in the securities of companies covered in its research. Sentia does not receive compensation from any covered company, issuer, or third party in exchange for coverage, for a particular conclusion, or for a particular drift score, and its research is not directed or reviewed by any covered company before publication.
Sentia does not engage in securities transactions for the purpose of benefiting from the market impact of its publications.
Forward-Looking Statements
Content may include forward-looking statements — about outlook, guidance, expectations, or trends — drawn from company disclosures or from analysis. These are subject to risks and uncertainties, and actual results may differ materially. Forward-looking statements speak only as of their date.
